Clinical Supervision

Elizabeth is the founder of Springboard Consulting, LLC and provides trauma-informed clinical supervision for beginning mental health professionals working with children and families. Her integrated developmental model of supervision focuses on the advancement of critical thinking and self-awareness.  She uses a balance of reflective and directive styles that challenge the learner to develop independent thinking and a strong professional identity.  Clinical Supervision is facilitated as a springboard for new mental health professionals seeking to mature their clinical identity and theoretical orientation.

Elizabeth has training in the areas of child welfare, child and family mental health, and trauma-related social, emotional, and behavioral challenges in children and youth.  She has worked in a variety of settings including community-based, school, day treatment, and residential services.  She also has specialized training in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and is an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS).

Restorative Practices

Restorative practices (RP) is a process that empowers those who have been harmed to convey the impact of the harm to those responsible, and for those responsible to acknowledge this impact and take steps to make it right, repair the harm, and build right relationships.

At Springboard we offer a range of RP services aimed at building and strengthening professional communities to function at their full potential. We believe that an agency is only as strong as it’s members’ trust in each other. With RP, our team develops a foundation of trust between members, that with ongoing nurture, empowers students and professionals alike to communicate effectively, develop belonging, and ultimately meet it’s mission.

Restorative Practices can serve as the basis for culture development and team building as well as the context within which cultures can transform harm and wrongdoing into opportunities for growth and learning.

Caregiver Coaching

Elizabeth’s theoretical orientation approaches trauma treatment for families by addressing the neurobiology of attachment and emotional regulation.  She takes a family systems approach by viewing the child in interaction with their environment to establish physical and emotional safety.  She also uses behavioral approaches to re-wire trauma responses and maladaptive relational templates.

All children have the ability to thrive in right relationship with others. Springboard Consulting partners with families who are struggling to find right relationship with their children, often as a result of childhood trauma. We work with all types of caregivers: birth parents, kin, adoptive, and foster families. All therapeutic coaching services are offered in a family’s home. Peer support groups for caregivers may also available.

Private pay only at this time.
